Glad to read that others were wiped out by the heat and humidity. For a minute, I thought I was getting old. I did scrape up enough energy to put together this short In-car camera shoot from Impalasaurus.

That's the first in car video I've ever had. Really really cool.I like the funky,period correct music also. Nancy will be up all night watching it, she likes the wheelie sensation. Me too.:D:D:D:D

Great Video, it was nice seeing everyone again,,,,, we had a great time. The heat was a killer for me as well. I did not get in the shower until 3a.m. but boy did I need it.

Then take Nancy for a nice little ride. I think she deserves it. Bout 5 years ago I took Pam for a ride. We were cruzin down I-94 one night at a pretty good clip. I didn't nail it or nothin but her eyes were HUGE when I came off the entrance ramp at about 15mph in 1st and rolled the throttle. By the time I had it in 3rd we was catchin up to traffic real fast.

I told her that was nothing like being at the track. Steve, I got an older sister that is a nurse. She lives in Vegas. She was back here visiting a few years ago and I took her for a little ride over by Ribbens shop. When we got back she told me that was the most fun she'd had in years. Keeping in mind that all traffic laws were observed.
I bet Nancy would like it. Actually I'm kind of surprised you haven't taken her for a ride. Don't you ever drive that thing??? There I go starting trouble again.

Americas funniest home videos here we come. It's always funny to see the look on someones face when their getting the first ride they've ever had in a FAST car. Probably a good idea to mute the audio though.
It usually has some naughty words in it.

Oh man, the stories I could tell from the waukesha streets. I could start a whole section or write a book perhaps. One funny story Kevin Ribbens and I had been working on a car he had at the time. a 67 tempest with a 2 stage big block. Car went something like 9.20 144 in 96 or 97. There was a kid who would come around the shop like 19 or 20 yrs old named Tony who really wanted that pontiac. We decided to take him for a ride! kevin and I were in front,Tony climbed under the roll bar and got in the back seat. Rode around a bit to warm the car up, got onto sunset drive and Kevin turns on the juice. Before I can get the words out your not really gonna spray it are you? (wish I had a dollar for everytime I said that to Kevin) He hits it, full pass through high gear. We slow down, turn and ask Tony what he thought about that. Kid looks like someone kicked him in the balls!! He says it was cool but, I wanted to cry cause I decided to hang to the roll bar. He had his hands between the back bar and the bench seat. The force of the car taking off shot my body back and crushed his hands. He didnt ask for rides after that!!:eek:
